Client Requirements
Weebs.app envisioned creating the world’s largest and most engaging otaku community platform, designed to unite anime, gaming, and comic fans globally. Their primary goals were to develop a virtual marketplace where users could connect with their favorite creators, purchase merchandise, and access exclusive events. Additionally, they aimed to introduce gamification through WeebsPlay, a feature that would boost user interaction by allowing fans to mine $WEEBS tokens. Project Approach Our approach to building Weebs.app focused on close collaboration with the client to transform their vision into a functional and engaging platform. We began by designing a user-friendly interface that would resonate with both creators and fans, ensuring that the platform offered seamless integration between key components such as the marketplace, WeebVerse, and WeebsPlay. This cohesive design aimed to provide users with a smooth and enjoyable experience while exploring the various features of the app.
To support the growing user base, we prioritized scalability and security by incorporating Blockchain-based functionalities, including $WEEBS token mining and staking.
Project Results Weebs.app launched successfully, attracting thousands of active users who engage with their favorite creators and purchase exclusive digital products within the vibrant WeebVerse. The introduction of the $WEEBS token and the WeebsPlay game has notably enhanced user retention. Many users actively mine tokens and stake them for rewards, creating a dynamic ecosystem that incentivizes participation. Additionally, the marketplace has gained popularity, enabling creators to sell hundreds of photopacks and merchandise to fans around the globe, further enriching the user experience.

To address this issue, we focused on enhancing our infrastructure to ensure it could support a growing number of users without compromising performance. This involved implementing cloud solutions that offered scalability and reliability, allowing the platform to adapt to varying traffic levels.
Creator Monetization
At Weebs.app, a key objective was to empower creators to monetize their products while maintaining fair transaction fees. To accomplish this, we designed a transparent payment system that allows creators to set their prices and receive payments quickly and efficiently. We introduced tiered transaction fees to reward high-volume creators with lower rates, promoting growth and sustainability within the marketplace.
Community Moderation
Managing a diverse global community of anime, comic, and gaming fans poses unique challenges in moderation and ensuring user safety.
